Ma route avec Déo a commencé en avril 2013 mais je ne savais pas qu'il existait. Il représentait un souhait pour le changement de regard du handicap dans la société tanzanienne. En Septembre 2012, j'avais gravi le Mont Kili, une française paraplégique aussi, notre guide avait dit que "c'était le temps a réveiller la Tanzanie" alors j'ai eu cette envie de faire monter un paraplégique habitant au pied du Kili puis de laisser le matériel pour que, tous ceux qui le rêvent puissent y accéder.
Le guide, Abel Beimoja, qui rêvait de réveiller la Tanzanie a cherché pour moi cette personne et m'a présenté Déogratius Chami, étudiant de 29 ans, diplômé en économie de l'Université de Moshi, paraplégique depuis 15 ans.

My way with Deo began in April 2013 without I know really he exists somewhere. It was a wish in my mind, to change the perception of tanzanien society in front of the handicap. In september 2012, I climb up the Kilimanjaro with success, a french paraplegic woman too. Our guide said that "it was the time to wake up Tanzania". I had this idea to organise an expedition to bring one tanzanian paraplegic to the top and to let the material there so that other paraplegics in the world could do it and follow their wish.
